Lanier County Busted Mugshots is a private reference service, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody or release, pull an official record or photograph, release a person, or post bond. The agency that created or holds the record must answer an official question.

Where to Ask for a Record

The Lanier County Sheriff's Office is the first local contact for Lanier County Jail custody, the weekly Jail Media Report, and a request for a booking record or booking photograph. Its open-records page names Antonia Martinez as records custodian. Hand delivery is available during business hours, but no fixed records-unit hours are published. Call before traveling or mailing a request.

For a sheriff request, identify the person, arresting agency if known, and a narrow arrest or process date. Say whether the request seeks the booking record, the booking photograph, or both. The Lanier request form lists ten cents per letter or legal page, the first 15 minutes of qualifying administrative work without charge, and later labor at the lowest-paid qualified full-time employee's rate. No fixed booking-photo fee or Lanier-specific turnaround promise is published.

Choose the Right Office

A booking record, an incident report, a court docket, and a state-prison profile are different records. Use the source that controls the question:

  • For Lanier jail custody, the weekly report, a current check, or a booking record and photograph request, use the sheriff's office and the county records path. No searchable local roster or same-day feed was verified.
  • For a possible warrant, use the direct sheriff process described on the Most Wanted Fugitives page. No verified Lanier web warrant portal was found.
  • For a Lakeland incident report, ask the Lakeland Police Department which office holds it. A city incident record and a county booking record can have different custodians.
  • For a person serving a Georgia prison sentence, use the GDC offender search or its direct query form. That system is not a county booking roster.
  • For federal custody, use the Bureau of Prisons locator. For immigration detention, use the ICE detainee locator.
  • For the later court result, start with the Georgia court e-access directory or ask the clerk which docket controls the case.

Before Sending a Request

Send the request to the agency that created or holds the record. For the sheriff, a narrow date range and a specific record type make it easier to locate the right file. The office may redact exempt material or withhold a photograph under the booking-photo law, and a response should identify the legal basis for material that is withheld.

Do not send a full personal history or sensitive documents to this private reference service. For immediate danger, call 911. A message about this service cannot replace an agency confirmation, a records response, or advice from a lawyer.
